Setting Up Your Player Functions in Kartra Video
Kartra has powerful functions you can add to videos that you have uploaded in My Videos.
Just click the three dots under any of the videos you’ve uploaded, click the Edit icon, and you’ll be taken to a screen with numerous options.
The features on this page we particularly want to bring your attention to today are “Calls to action,” “Tag leads,” and “End actions”.
Calls to Action
Adding a Call to Action to your videos in Kartra allows you to add sales and prospecting functions directly to your videos. If you want to make a super powerful video sales page, it’s easy to do it with Kartra!
For example, by selecting to add an Opt-in call to action to your video, you can easily put one of the Forms you’ve created already directly into your video. That way, as soon as you mention signing up, your viewer can do so without hesitation.
With Calls to Action, you can also add a button directly to your video so you can sell them in the video, and have them buy right then and there with a Caption + Button call to action!
To tag, or organize, your leads according to viewer behavior, click the “Tag leads” option and then hit + NEW TAG.
You can assign existing tags, or create new tags, for those who visited the video page, those who watched to a certain point in the video, or for anyone who activates one of the Calls to Action that you set up previously. This means, for example, if you set up an opt-in form during your video, you can tag the people who completed it.
And then, as always, you can set up sequences and automations elsewhere in Kartra for what to do with those tags. By now, you are likely seeing how powerful the options are for video behavior triggers in Kartra!
What happens when your video ends? You’ve got four options in Kartra:
- Just end the video.
- Loop this video from the beginning.
- Play another Kartra video.
- Redirect to a URL.
As you can probably guess with that final option, this can be a very powerful tool for capturing leads and closing sales. Immediately after your video pitch, you can redirect everyone who watched directly to your buy page, your webinar registration page, etc.
